Messi is one of the top footballer in the world. He is playing football for his national football team Argentina and also represent his football club a Spanish football club names as "FC Barcelona", one of top 3 Football clubs in the world. Lionel is the captain of his national team several times. He won UEFA Best Player in Europe Award in 2010-11. Messi ranked himself all the times mostly in top 10 position. Lionel Messi Early Life
Messi date of birth is June 24th 1987 and he born in Rosario, Argentina. His father a factory steel worker. He has two older brothers and one sister. Lionel started football at the age of 5. When Messi 11 he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency. A local football showed interest in his progress but were not willing to pay for treatment for his condition. Well, Barcelona offered to pay his medical bills on the condition that he moved to Spain. Along with his father Lionel Messi moved to Barcelona and started professional career.
Lionel Professional Football Career
Messi is playing for Barcelona FC since 2003. He started one match in Juvenil B and got promoted to A team. On 29 Nov 2003 he played for Football Club Barcelona C team and then for Barcelona C on 6 March 2004. Then he played for both teams during that season.
Messi made his official debut for the first team on 16 November 2003.
