Group A of this FIFA World Cup 2014 consist of four teams, Brazil, Croatia, Mexico and Cameroon.

- Brazil
Brazil is the most successful national football team in the history of the FIFA World Cup. They have won Champions title for the 5 times. First in 1958, second 1962, third 1970, fourth in 1994 and the fifth in 2002.
- Croatia
Croatia represents the Croatia men's national football team. Football was introduced to this country in 1873. Croatia qualified for three World Cup between 1998 and 2006 but failed to qualify for 2010 World Cup.
- Mexico
The Mexico national football team represents Mexico. The current ranking of this football team in FIFA World ranking is 19. This team won FIFA Confederations Cup, 9 CONCACAF Championships, one North American Nations Cup and 3 NAFC Championships.
- Cameroon
Cameron National football team is representing Cameron team in this FIFA World Cup 2014. They have already qualified for this mega event and in previous season of FIFA they had qualified for 6 times. Cameroon was the only African Football Team played quarter final of the World Cup in 1990. Unfortunately they lost that match against England.
